When you see a cast consists of, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, and even a Arnold Schwarzenegger cameo, you expect this to be a action packed mans kind of movie. You are exactly correct.

Plot? Who needs a plot? That is exactly what the directors must have been thinking when they wrote this film. Instead, blow up enough stuff to completely make up for the lack of storyline.

Labeled as some of the best Mercenaries for hire, this group of rebels are commissioned to go into a small island country and overthrow a dictator. Armed with loads of ammo and their very own plane, they take on this challenge. As expected, there has to be a woman in the mix somewhere, and this story is no different.

From large explosions, decent fight scenes, and the occasional laugh this was a overall great film.

One thing I did notice is that many of the fight scenes are very dark. I feel like they did this so they could use stunt men, in hopes of you not realizing it. I could be completely wrong, but that was just my take. There is also another scene where Stallone is running down a lake dock, let’s just say his running ability has declined.

One of the best, yet overshadowed scenes of the movie is the cameo of Schwarzenegger. The dialong between Schwarzenegger, Stallone, and Willis is priceless.

This would definitely be a movie to get a baby sitter for, leave the kids at home. Full of explosions, guns, fights, and blood this action packed thriller keeps you entertained and excited to entire way though. I completely enjoyed it and do not regret spending my $10 to see this movie.
