Aftermath Retreat

I had the opportunity to go with Cross Point Church on their student retreat at Deer Run Retreat a couple weekends ago. My role there was to capture footage of the weekend. I absolutely love events like these, our next generation is more capable of doing far more then we could ever imagine. As Brad Cooper has said many times – “Our ceiling is the next generations floor.”

They asked me to put together a short :60 recap that was shown during the services last weekend. Here is just a snapshot of the weekend.

Spring 2010 TV Spots

Twice a year we have a radio ratings period. During this time we do everything we can to promote our stations.

One of the elements we’ve added in recent years is broadcast TV Advertising. The first time, we outsourced them, but starting last fall I took on the projects. We have full HD capabilities here, so it just made sense to do them in house.

We are running spots for 3 stations. Star 104.3, News Radio 570 WWNC, and 99.9 Kiss Country. I’ve posted the final products below. Each one has a different marketing angle, from promotional driven to station branding. It was a nice change of pace to get to work on these.

One thing is for sure, it’s a lot harder to make a good :15 commercial then people thing. I gained a lot of respect for the creative department at production companies during the process. Enjoy.
