27 Million

I want you to say that number out loud. Twenty Seven Million.

That is the number of people that are affected by human trafficking right now. It’s real and its here. This isn’t a movie, it’s real life. Just thinking about that number completely breaks my heart. That in a world where everything is at our fingertips there are 27 Million people getting sold and living lives that we couldn’t even imagine. There is a way you can help.

Matt Redman has recorded a song called 27 Million, its sole purpose is to bring awareness to this horrific number. The song hits iTunes in the US tonight – buy it. All of the proceeds go to support the A21 Campaign. You could also give to the A21 Campaign directly and learn more about them here.

NewSpring Worship // No Other Name

This weekend something happens that I’m really excited about.

My church (NewSpring) is releasing a new worship album.

No Other Name.

A group of songs all birthed out of the heart of our church.

It’s been amazing to sing some of these songs for years now, and finally see the rest of the word get to experience them.

The album will be available on iTunes.

A free concert is going to be held at the Anderson campus on Saturday night at 7.

Below is a promo for it …

One Thing Remains

Sometimes in life you hear a song that just completely wrecks you.

That song for me right now is, One Thing Remains.

It’s easy for us to look at stupid mistakes we’ve made and let that                                                   allow us to feel separated from God.

I always hear people say, and they act like it’s a joke, but I know they feel it to be true is ..

“If I ever set foot in a church it would burn down.”

Guess what .. it won’t.

The chorus of this song says -

Your love never fails, never gives up. Never runs out on me.

Think about that for a second.

Your love never fails, never gives up. Never runs out on me.

Never means never. No matter what you’ve done or what your doing.

Jesus still loves you.

Think about the person that you know that loves you the most.

They don’t even come close to loving you as much as Jesus does.

It’s an amazing thought that is so hard to wrap our minds and hearts around.

Listen to the song, it’ll completely blow your mind.
