I feel like it’s time to knock the dust off the blog and get too posting again, and there has not been a better time then now to do so.
As I’m sure a lot of you have seen on Facebook or Twitter, I am going to be moving to Nashville very soon. I have been getting a lot of questions about everything so I decided to dedicate a blog post to the topic so everyone can hear it at once.
I have accepted a position as General Sales Manager/Digital Sales Manager for Clear Channel Nashville. It is in some capacity what I’ve been doing for Clear Channel Asheville for the past few years. I will be working with 5 awesome stations, Big 98 WSIX, 107.5 The River, 101.1 The Beat, 105.9 The Rock, and News Radio 1510 WLAC. My official start date is 8/15, which makes my last day at Clear Channel Asheville 8/12.
I leave with mixed emotions. Leaving behind your hometown, family, friends, my amazing church family, and your career for the last 5 years, is a touch decision. It was through careful consideration, and a lot of prayer that I decided this was a opportunity I cannot turn down. I am at the perfect age and place in my life to make a huge leap of this size.
I am excited about moving to a city, getting to make new friends, and experiencing a new way of life.
I want to say thank you to everyone who has already reached out, I’ll miss you all.
